Requirements and loadout
Uchigatana needs 11 Strength and 16 Dexterity to wield one-handed. It weighs 5.5 units. Check your equipped load before changing weapons so you keep the roll you expect.
Where to find it
Defeat the Sword Master outside Firelink Shrine.
Infusion and field notes
Useful infusion: Sharp.
Treat bleed as a bonus against susceptible targets. Consistent hits and safe recovery are more reliable than forcing a proc.
Infusion and damage depend on your current attributes and the enemy's defenses. Compare the result in your own inventory before spending upgrade materials.
