FIELD GUIDE / COMBAT

Leave enough for one more roll.

Make stamina a survival budget, not just a longer attack combo.

Budget the exit first

Before attacking, reserve enough stamina to dodge away. A weapon that can swing three times does not mean every opening permits three swings. Start with one attack and add more only when the enemy recovery clearly supports it.

Recover between exchanges

Lower your shield when you are safe; guarding slows stamina recovery. Walking for a moment can be better than sprinting in a circle. A Chloranthy Ring helps recovery, but cannot undo a habit of emptying the bar under pressure.

Let the enemy spend first

Bosses often chain attacks before entering a recovery animation. Your damage window begins after the dangerous part, not after every successful dodge. Spend a few attempts observing one sequence without trying to maximize damage.
