Spend your starting firebombs only when you have time to throw. Keep enough stamina to roll after attacking.

Circle close, watch the end of each swing, and take a single safe hit. His halberd can be parried, but learning the dodge is enough.

The transformation gives a brief attack window. Once the creature settles, stay near the side and avoid retreating into its long reach.
